Stuart H. Ralston is a Professor of Rheumatology at the University of Edinburgh. 

Ian Penman is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh, UK.
