Genreally we know that in steady state, the capacitor doesn't allow the dc current, but during transient time (during which the capacitor keeps on charging) a current flows which is not constant but varies with time. We can realise the transient response very easily from this circuit. In this circuit as we turn on the power, the led gets turn on during transient time . We can analyse it very easily. As the capacitor gets fully charged, the led stops glowing. We can observe it many times by dischaging and charging the capacitor.
