Position: Application Architect (LAMP)

As Application Architect, you will be responsible in taking ShopClues.com technologies to new heights of scalability and performance. You will be responsible of handling all the key aspects of Application architecture such as reviewing business goals, architect application and system design to achieve business goals, research, prototype, implement new methodology, define application development standards and guiding engineering teams to implement the standards.
An ideal candidate will possess following:

1. 5 years of experience implementing complex web applications on LAMP, Java, preferably in consumer internet technologies.
2. Must have led really complex and highly scalable application development and architecture.
3. Must have extensive experience in design concepts like OOP, MVC, etc.
4. Strong understanding of query optimization and database design for highly scalable systems.
5. hands-on experience with caching concepts and technologies like varnish, APC, memcache, etc.
6. Strong understanding of 3-tier, n-tier architectures.
7. Experience in design, implementation & optimization of complex database schemas.
8. Good written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present proposals to management team.
9. Good skills in Threading, Serialization, Security, performance optimization, etc.
10. Good understanding of open-source technologies for monitoring and tuning on LAMP stack.
11. Full understanding in software development process and prior experience in Agile or Extreme programming Methodology
12. Extremely good communications and interpersonal skills
13. Ability to collaborate across departments
14. Result oriented and ready to take ownership
15. Desire to make impact and high work ethics

Position: Manager Billing & Payment Operations

Primary responsibility for a Manager Billing & Payments Operations is to ensure timely and accurate payments to our merchants as per ShopClues payment cycle and policies. The person should be a good people manager with a strong process orientation. He and his team will also be the primary contact for all billing and payment related issues and their resolution. He should have ability to work with the senior management to give feedback on the pain points of billing and payment processes so that it can be iteratively improved. He will be responsible for creation of Billing related MIS, Reporting and reconciliations for different stakeholders. At least 4 years of experience in similar type of role

An ideal candidate will possess following:

1. Managing Merchant Payment Services operations
2. Managing merchant payables and adjustments as per business requirements
3. Responsible for refunds arising out of various online transactions
4. Managing Debit and Credit Notes with merchants
5. Open for communication with respective operational departments and third party merchants
6. Personnel with Eye for details
7. Zeal to learn and understand new technologies and processes
8. Compiling and closing accounting transaction within required timeframe
9. Knowledge of e-commerce and retail industry would be an added advantage
10. Good Interpersonal and communication skills, tactful handling of sensitive, confidential issues; ability to resolve complaints and timely completion of executive-level reports and presentation
11. Inclination towards Technology – preferred
12. Ability to manage a team.

Position: Product Manager

We are looking for product managers either with prior experience in consumer goods, technology, E-Commerce, or other consumer focused products with direct involvement in product development and management.

An ideal candidate will have engineering degree from a top-tier engineering institutes in India or USA and an MBA from a top-tier business school from India or USA. Product manager should possess superior skills in strategic thinking, problem solving, product management, product planning, and analytics.
