This Wireless Modem Router is user-friendly as it can easily be set up on your Local Area Network (LAN) to connect to the Internet and configure basic wireless connectivity. This Modem Router provides you with a smooth and secure way to set up a wireless network with fast access to the Internet over a high-speed Digital Subscriber Line (DSL).

The Netgear DGN2200 comes with a Smart Wizard installation software to help you connect it to the Router, microfilters and PCs. The Router comes with a built-in firewall, as well as physical buttons to control the state of your wireless network. This Router supports Internet Explorer 5.0, Firefox 2.0, Safari 1.4 or higher versions.

Design and Finish

Integrated with Dual external antenna, this sleek and handy Modem Router is lightweight in the literal sense, as it weighs just 300 g. This wireless modem occupies 33 x 173 x 128 mm of space. The Netgear device has 3 LED indicators and icons on its front panel, indicating the Link, Port and Power status of your network. Starting from the left to the right, the rear panel consists of RJ-11 ADSL port that connects the device to an ADSL line. This is followed by four Local Ethernet RJ-45 LAN ports for connecting other compatible devices, a Power on/off button and an AC power adapter input.

The Smart Wizard setup on the Resource CD that is provided with the Router takes about 15 minutes to complete. It can be used on a PC with Microsoft Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP or Windows 2000 with Service Pack 2.
