We got these beautiful buttons from an old lady who told us this story about them. Her great grand-father worked in the court of  The Nizaam of Hydrabad, it is from him that she received her family heirloom - a box of old coins of that era. Not knowing what to do with them she just kept them away. Many years later after she got married and every festival, every birthday and every occasion became a dilemma to find the right gift for her husband, his family & friends. It is then that she says she got this idea of converting these old coins into buttons. Not only do they give a royal touch to your dressing but also have a great value attached.
